“Ukraine has the ‘will and skill’ to win the war with Russia”

“Ukraine has the ‘will and skill’ to win the war with Russia,” these words were proclaimed by U.S. President Joe Biden after the United States Senate decided to provide Ukraine with the largest aid package yet. 

He stressed that this decision “will secure the United States, make the world safer, and continue the leadership of the United States in the world.” We have to add from ourselves, that for Ukraine, U.S. military assistance plays a fateful role: six months of waiting has exhausted our technical combat resources and led to losses of Ukrainian defenders and territories. 

We thank the American politicians who were able to influence this decision. Now we have high hopes that our will to win, reinforced by military equipment, will give Ukraine ample opportunities to effectively confront the enemy.
