Destroyed childhood: the price Ukrainian children pay for Russia’s imperial ambitions
A happy childhood is when you can spend a lot of time with friends, play all day long, laugh a lot, and enjoy every day… The Russian occupation army destroyed such a childhood for Ukrainian children… killing them with missiles and bombs, crippling them under the rubble of their homes in their native cities.
One of our reports is dedicated specifically to the children who, as a result of the war, either died, became disabled or orphaned, or were forcibly deported to Russia.
Today, on Children’s Day, we want to remind the world about the fate of Ukrainian children, who until recently did not know what it meant to run to a shelter, hear an air raid siren, and fear dying.
We urge the governments of partner countries to fully support our defenders and protect our civilian population from Russian terror. Help return a cloudless childhood to Ukrainian children!
